A Single Light is a grass roots community, health based, non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the access to information for those afflicted with cancer, along with their families, to lessen their suffering through education and service.
To complete our mission we have created the Cancer Resource Database (CRD), Capturing the Light Photography Program, and Huggles: making blankets for children. The CRD lists cancer outreach organization offering support services and resources to the afflicted across the United States. Capturing the Light captures every moment of joy, hope, and courage for those affected by cancer through photography. While Huggles makes blankets out of fleece for children who are in need of moral support and is coordinated with the local chapter of the Linus Project.
Don’t forget that we are currently looking for volunteers for all kinds of positions. Right now we need motivated people to help us research and identify organizations across the country that can be included in our database.
